Hello Guys, as you all know the on going matter between Mercy Chinwo and VeryDarkBlackMan which is in court.

That the court ordered for VDM arrest has now been withdrawn stating that no body should touch VDM not even the Inspector general or police.

Here is A short recap of what happened: The Gospel singer Mercy Chinwo has slammed Martins Vincent Otse also known as (VDM) VeryDarkBlackMan the voice of Nigerians, to a High Court in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, demanding N1.1bn in damages over “defamatory” social media posts made against her person by the blogger in the contract dispute and alleged diversion of $345,000 involving her former record label boss, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu also known as Eezee Tee.

The lawsuit has on the order of the court directed the VDM to pay to the Claimant the Sum of N1,000,000,000.00 (One Billion Naira) only as General Damages for defamation, the Sum of N100,000,000.00 (One Hundred Million Naira) only as Punitive and Aggravated Damages for the grossly defamatory statement, the sum of N25,000,000.00 (Twenty-Five Million Naira).

VDM posted on this social media account stating the out come of the arrest.

So it said order as follows so we skip number 1 and go to number 2 and 3 because that's the most important of them all.

So number 2 says it is further order that the leave granted to the applicant to apply for the judicial in case No CR/149/2025 Mercy Chinwo Blessing Vs Martins Vincent Otse Current pending case before his worship Chief Emmanuel .A IYANNA (Chief Magistrate 1) of court 1 magistrate wuse zone 6 Abuja shall operate as a stay of execution of the order made by the first respondent on the 13 of merch 2025 issuing a warrant of arrest against the applicant and also a stay of all further proceedings decision action that matters in case CR/149/2025 case Mercy Chinwo Blessing Vs Martins Vincent Otse pending the determination of motion on notice.

He further explain that the judge that ordered for his arrest is now a defendant of the case.

An order of interim injunction is here by granted restraining the inspector general of police or any officer under his command and control for it from executing the bench warrant issued against the applicant on March 13 2025 by first respondent pending the hearing of determination of notice.

He now further to explain to Nigerians that this means that no body can arrest him against this Mercy Chinwo issue.

Because he is doing the right thing and want to stop oppression in the country.
