Oluwabamise Ayanwola 22years Old Lady Missing BRT Bus, Found Dead Driver Arrested And He Confessed

Hello Guy, Things keep happening in the country we have seen or heard about this type of issue past years. 

The 22-year-old lady went missing after boarding a BRT bus on February 26. Her corpse was found lying on Carter Bridge by Ogogoro community in Lagos Island, said Police spokesman Adekunle Ajisebutu. 

Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the death of a female citizen Oluwabamise Ayanwola.  

The body has been deposited at the morgue of the Mainland Hospital in Yaba for autopsy. 

Ajisebutu noted that the bereaved family has been contacted and the corpse identified. 

Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi, expressed sadness and assured that the detectives handling the case will find the killers. 

“We are closing in on the culprits. We are sure that soon the suspects would be arrested and made to face justice for this murderous act”, the command vowed.

Ayanwola was said to be returning to Ota from Ajah on Saturday, February 26, when she boarded the BRT bus en route to Oshodi around 7pm at Chevron bus stop. 

Sensing danger as the bus did not pick any other passenger at subsequent bus stops, Oluwabamise reportedly engaged a friend using voice notes on her phone. 

The voice notes indicated that the bus driver said he liked Oluwabamise and asked for her name and other details. 

She told her friend to pray for her as she became suspicious of the bus driver and in response, the friend told her to alight at Oworonsoki bus stop, way before Oshodi. 

While the driver had been arrested.

He made some confession about the incident but from what he said and what the disease said or told her friend before she was killed was a totally different story.
