Facebook Messenger Gives You 10 Min To Delete Sent Messages

Hello guys, Facebook has finally decided to allow people to retrieve sent messages but with one condition.

Users can simply pick up sent messages by clicking the “Delete” button in Messenger.

However, the option will only be available for 10 minutes. 

After this deadline the messages will stay in the conversation forever.

For a long time the company has tested the function and the users have requested it. Gradually it will be sent to all users on Android and iOS from today.



The function is accessed by typing on a message that also provides options like “forward” and “translate” along with the “remove” option. Clicking on the last one will get two options to delete it for yourself and for everyone.

Even when messages are deleted, people can report those abusive confirmed social networking.

The feature is also available on other Facebook applications such as WhatsApp.

In the latter, users can delete messages up to an hour after they have sent them even though it was initially shorter.
