TSTV Adds Africa Channels 2018, What About Commercial Sales, Data & Sports Channels

Hello guys, Since last year there is now news about tstv. Because they are yet to commence commercial sales of their decoders.

The discussion for today focuses on tstv Africa channels update and forecast. A few months back, TSTV added more channels to their package (Basically movies, news and entertainment GrandSport 1 And 2 channels). This increases their total numbers from 30+ to 50+.

However, there are 4 propositions out of this for easy assimilation. These are speculations of the actions TSTV may be induced to take;

1. TSTV Africa may launch without any sports channels that will show RPL or UCL. If they are planning to do this, then they can even launch as early as February. Similarly, do not be shocked if they start selling their decoders without promised free data. 
2. They may launch with some sports channels that they do not have rebroadcasting license for. If they do this, it will be a matter of time before the contents owners come after them. However, they might have made enough money to drag the matter in court. If this is the case, they will eventually lose the sports channels. It is not possible for now even with money for them to have EPL and UCL broadcast rights. 
3. This is most likely what we will witness. TSTV Africa may launch with only news, music, movies and entertainment channels. Then, they will promise sports channels later on. 
4. Another faint occurrence is them launching with a feed sports channels. In a layman’s language, it means these channels will join live sports events only when it commences. Just like signal 6 on 10E. This will also frown at. 

Get ready for any of the scenarios above. It can never go outside what we have listed. As at now, there is no dedeicated sports channels on there channels list. Whatever the case may be, we await the outcome of the ongoing drama. The buzz as subsided already.

TSTV has added a major impact on DStv within a short period of time. As it stands, many sports channels are available for compact subscribers.
